goodlord! it's such an exact match for what happens to aboriginal people the world over. i often wonder how they manage to replicate it the same way. do the mining executives and politicians all attend the same exploitation workshops or something? or is there a template somewhere that they all have to follow? the thing is, it is happening on thousands of fronts at once, this war against the land and the people of the land. so it is impossible to fight it all at once. any time resistance is successful in one place, the problem seems to then pop up in five more places - like that beast of european mythology that grows back three heads every time you cut off one.
