Yes but the term Redskins is a trademark that brings in oodles of money that would be lost were the team to change its name to something else. So the US Supreme Court decided that it is not an offensive term.

Hey, they should no!

too true, too true.

western etiquette is simply the fastest path to the cash. colonialism is driven by greed and endless wealth acquisition.

"the economic problem" as defined in economics is that there will always be more demand than supply. this is the condition at the heart of the recent historical construct of non-indigenousness.

as long as this condition lasts, no insult is too great, no obscenity so unutterable as to limit the greed of colonial prospectors, who continue to stake their claims on what is left of our land, culture, symbols and way of life.

Redskin is also the name of a raspberry flavored hard candy stick:

lol :-)

I can remember the name, white knights, but I can't remember what they were like. I even searched the internet and couldn't find a picture. Though I did find this:

i suppose we could get into the whole aboriginal diabetes issue - the idea of indigenous people being colonised as much by sugar as by the gun...

but how depressing. yeah, anyway, yum yum!
