» koorieboy - Homosexuality amongst Our prople
Hi,It's great to see that people are researching the area of homosexuality amongst my people. As a gay man who has been HIV positive for the past 16 years I think that we (Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander gay men, sistergirls, transgender and HIV positive people)are finally at a point where we can ensure that issues that affect us are put out their in the public.
When I complete my Degree in two and a half years, I plan to do research on perceptions of homosexuality and associated issues in Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander society, pre and post invasion.
I'm glad that a work colleague sent me this web site, as I found it to be a valuable resource for me and it's fabulous to see that we are talking about it more.
Regards to all,
Keith Ball.
