» woorama - Taboos and Sexism: Aboriginal Cultures Misrepresented

In response to Taboos and Sexism: Aboriginal Cultures Misrepresented posted by woorama:

traditional division of labour and spirituality into men's and women's business is really about a philosophy of balance. eg many cultures have male and female deities, like the husband controlling day and the wife controlling night, one living north and one living south. it reflects the duality of thought that is the cornerstone of many aboriginal philosophies and social systems.
