European Australians have been deemed incapable of deciding their own destinies in light of a leaked Child Rape Dossier.
A Newspaper Clipping
"It is a catalogue of atrocities that has shocked the world and prompted the UN to declare White Australians incapable of deciding their own destinies.
A two-year-old European Australian girl was raped by a drunk relative while her mother was out, also drunk.
A six-year-old girl was raped anally by an 18-year-old heroine addict in the bath. She drowned as she was raped.
Another European Australian man raped a seven-month-old girl after taking her from a room of sleeping adults.
A two-month-old baby was stabbed by her father as he attacked his wife.
These and other chilling stories of rape and murder in the squalid, lower-class, white, suburban neighbourhoods were in a dossier compiled for the United Nations by UN inspectors. That dossier has now been leaked to the international press, prompting the British government to reappraise urgently its relations with Australia's semi-autonomous colonial community.
Tony Blair, British Prime Minister, declared: "It is a fact that there is rampant Australian violence, and I think British society needs to face up to that reality."
He said that he would not support moves toward offering Australian people republic status. He added that the British Government's efforts to respect the customs of the penal colony by allowing the Australian government to create its own legislation had failed, and that intervention was now inevitable.
The revelations fuelled the United Kingdom's mounting alarm about brutality and deprivation inside many of the poorer white suburbs, and even in the middle-class community, in which most of the abuse goes unreported.
Homocide is the leading cause of premature death among lower-class women in some suburbs, and they are 45 times more likely than upper-class women to suffer domestic violence.
There have been 15 violent deaths in the past year among the white homeless people living on the streets of Sydney.
Last month, another minister described the homeless European communities of Sydney as "Ghettos of despair".
But the particularly appalling cases contained in the UN inspectors' report have caused international anguish. They said they were "beyond the range of normal comprehension," but suggested that poor white communities were suffering from such "tragedy fatigue" that monstrous crimes had come to appear unremarkable.
The sexual violence was often blamed on chronic alcoholism, and frequently excused as such. Many are calling for a reappraisal of Australian cultural practices of social drinking, or "getting on the piss". It is argued that lower-class Australian children suffer violence from a young age and frequently witness violent attacks on others.
It is argued that "getting on the piss" is a predominant aspect of life in European Australian communities, with Queensland having the highest rate of alcohol consumption per person in the world."
How Did You Feel?
Don't worry, it's all fiction. Take a deep breath. How outraged did you feel? How horrible was it to have the worst traits of your community dragged out into the spotlight for the world to see, and then used to justify the stripping of your autonomy? How did it feel to have the Australian "bloke" identity equated with paedophilia? How would you go getting a job in London with that image following you about?
Real Article, With Ethnicity Changed
This piece of fiction is frighteningly close to the truth. It is basically a rewrite of an article from The Times, condemning Aboriginal Australia based on the reported actions of the rapists and murderers from the most impoverished elements of Indigenous society. But in my version, the details of the article have been changed to target the Australian dominant culture instead of Indigenous people. My hope is that this will help mainstream readers understand how it feels to be targeted by the kind of propaganda that is currently being used in the campaign to extinguish hopes of Aboriginal sovereignty .
The Real Abuse
Anybody who has spent time in mainstream lower-class communities knows that these communities suffer similar levels of violence and abuse to those experienced in impoverished Indigenous communities. However, it would be inconceiveable that a Child Rape Dossier would be compiled based on this community's dysfunction in order to justify the destruction of the Australian government's autonomy.
In fact, many reports have been compiled by international agencies condemning the human rights abuses perpetrated by the Australian government on our peoples. However, nobody has ever sunk so low as to use these reports to call for an end to Australian self-governance. Those kind of dirty tactics seem to be reserved for colonial administrations.
