MNN. Aug. 9, 2006. Judge David Marshall wants to kick the Six Nation people off reclaimed land on the Haldimand Tract he wants developed in his wife's name.
In court on August 8th, one Indigenous man shouted, "You have no jurisdiction," at which time he ran out of the courtroom.
His court has no jurisdiction to rule on Six Nations land according to procedures set out in the constitutions of Six Nations peoples.
The original order was taken on behalf of Henco and they are no longer involved or interested. They've requested that these orders be dissolved.
Marshall has changed the order to "criminal contempt" bringing his judicial competence into question. Because of his personal interest, some are calling for his resignation.
Six Nations owns the Haldimand Tract and considers the Judge's order a foreign invasion of their jurisdiction. They have every right to defend themselves against attacks according to their constitution and the rule of law.
Six Nations repossessed this piece of land at the end of February 2006 according to the Haldimand Proclamation of 1784.
Skin heads, KKK and other paid instigators have come to the reclamation site to challenge the Six Nations people. Last night choppers flew over the reclamation site and 60 to 70 Ontario Provincial Police cruisers were on site.
